Tan is a Certified Tax Practitioner and a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of professional experience in tax advisory, accounting and corporate secretarial practices. His core expertise lies in corporate and individual taxation, accounting, statutory compliance, and company secretarial management, serving a wide range of industries and business structures.

With extensive exposure across ASEAN, China, and South Asia, Tan brings a regional perspective to tax and compliance matters — helping multinational clients structure their operations efficiently while remaining compliant with evolving cross-border tax regulations.

At Hill & Harvey, Tan leads the Tax and Compliance Division, overseeing corporate governance, statutory filings, and advisory engagements. His deep understanding of Malaysian tax laws and regional compliance frameworks enables him to deliver strategic, practical, and fully compliant solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Vimalan is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA, UK) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), with over 18 years of experience spanning audit, financial management, and business advisory services. His professional journey covers diverse industries, including manufacturing, trading, consulting, and services, across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

He has led finance and audit functions for multinational organizations, driving process improvements, strategic planning, and financial transformation. Vimalan’s expertise includes statutory and internal audits, financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and compliance with IFRS and MFRS frameworks.

With strong regional exposure and cross-border experience, he brings deep insight into business structuring, cross-jurisdictional taxation, and governance.
